Extra-Virgin Greek Olive Oil
I am very proud to introduce to you the Greek Olive Oil produced in my native village of Krokees, Sparta, Greece. Yes, the land of the legendary Spartans!
This oil is produced from locally owned family farms and cold pressed within 24 hours of the olives being harvested. I receive it directly from my village. It has not been chemically treated, refined, adulterated, blended, or filtered.
I believe it to be one of the finest oils anywhere: pure, fresh, fruity, delicate, and rich in healthful nutrients and antioxidants.
Ours Is an agricultural region. There are no heavy industries to pollute the air and land. Our valley is flanked by mountains and the Mediterranean. The oil is organic and our olive groves are free of pesticides.

Extra-Virgin Greek Olive Oil
From the olive groves of Krokees, Sparta, Greece
Since ancient times, olive oil has remained an essential element in Greek daily life. It provides nourishment, healing and hygiene for the body, a means or cooking and preserving foods, and fuel for light.
Terra foods extra-virgin olive oil is naturally pure, produced without using pesticides, from ripe, hand-picked olives that are cold pressed within 24 hours of harvesting. It is not refined, chemically processed, blended, or filtered. This results in a superior oil with a fresh fruity aroma, stimulating flavour and rich source of healthful nutrients and antioxidants.
Olive oil is a literal storehouse of vitamins A, D, E and K which are instrumental in the renewal of cells and slowing down of the aging process in organs and tissues. Nutritionally, olive oil has 14 grams of fat and 124 calories per tablespoon.
Unlike animal fats, olive oil is high in monounsaturated fats. This type of fat lowers LDL levels (harmful type of blood cholesterol) without affecting the HDL ( good type of blood cholesterol), and therefore decreases the risk of heart attack.
To enjoy its appetizing flavour and goodness, use it as a condiment/last minute addition in salads, steamed vegetables, pizza, sauces, and on toasted bread and bruschetta.
Store olive oil tightly sealed in a cool, dark cupboard. Never refrigerate olive oil; due to its high vegetable fat content, it will solidify. If this should happen by mistake, simply let the oil stand at room temperature to return it to its natural liquid state.
