10th Annual Midsummer Herbfest Chef Cook-off Recipes

The special feature of this year’s Herbfest was the 3rd ever Chef Cook-off! The event was a great success – thanks to the chefs, the sponsors, the judges, the host Pam Collacott, the sommelier Debbie Trenholm, the Savvy Grapes, the Cook-off organizer Chris Hume , Ottawa Valley Herb Association and the enthusiastic audience. We also enjoyed sampling the extra virgin Greek olive oil provided by Stavros Kalogerakos, Terra Foods. Judy Dempsey, The Hungry Planet was selected as the “people’s choice” winner of the Chef Cook-off.

Each chef received a gift (from either Kitchenalia or Richters Herbs) for participating in the Cook-off.
