8th Annual Midsummer Herbfest
Chef Cook-off Recipes
The special feature of this year's Herbfest was a Chef Cook-off! The event was a great success - thanks to the chefs, the sponsors, the judges, the host (Pam Collacott) and the enthusiastic audience. "Sweet Potato Lemon Basil Salmon Cakes with a Spicy Sweet Corn Chutney"

12:30 pm Mark van der Pas & Paul Bedard, Tulips & Maple, Ottawa
"Bean & Banana Lemon Thyme Curry with Wok-Seared Ahi Tuna and Lemon Sage Marscarpone"

Mark van der Pas & Paul Bedard's recipe was selected as the "people's choice" winner of the Chef Cook-off. Each chef received a gift (from either Kitchenalia or the Glebe Emporium) for participating in the Cook-off.
