9th Annual Midsummer Herbfest Chef Cook-off Recipes

The special feature of this year’s Herbfest was the 2nd ever Chef Cook-off! The event was a great success – thanks to the chefs, the sponsors, the judges, the host (Pam Collacott), the sommelier (Debbie Trenholm, the Savvy Grapes) and the enthusiastic audience. We also enjoyed sampling the extra virgin Greek olive oil provided by Stavros Kalogerakos, Terra Foods. The dedicated team of judges was selected at random from the audience. Brad Henderson assisted by Scott, Perspectives Restaurant was selected as the “people’s choice” winner of the Chef Cook-off. Each chef received a gift (from either Kitchenalia or the Glebe Emporium) for participating in the Cook-off.
