Chris Hume is a founding member of the Ottawa Valley Herb Association. The OVHA was formed in the fall of 1995 and organizes an annual Midsummer Herb
Festival. It aims to offer educational opportunities about the culinary, aromatic and medicinal aspects of herbs, to generate enthusiasm for the pleasures of herb
gardening, and to provide a forum for Ottawa Valley small herb businesses to network and promote their herbal products.
